Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, Herlina comes from a family with a strong legal background. Her late father was a Notary Public in Central Jakarta, having previously worked as a lawyer and as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Atma Jaya Catholic University, Jakarta. Both her late father and grandfather also worked as migration agents in Jakarta, assisting foreign nationals with the naturalization process during the 1980s.
Following in her family’s footsteps, Herlina personally migrated to Australia, bringing firsthand experience of the migration journey, a path that inspired her passion for immigration law. She has extensive experience in Australian immigration law, having practised in both Singapore and Australia.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, Herlina is particularly well-positioned to support the Indonesian community in Australia. Herlina values the long-standing relationships she has built with her clients and is always eager to assist new ones.
Outside of work, she enjoys aerobics and spending time in the kitchen, mastering her cooking and baking skills, especially Indonesian dishes, while experimenting with new recipes.
