Financial Agreement
Financial Agreements, recognised under the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth), allow couples to make legally binding arrangements about how their assets and financial matters will be managed if their relationship ends. These agreements can be made before, during, or after a marriage or de facto relationship.
To be legally binding, both parties must receive independent legal advice about the effect of the agreement and its advantages and disadvantages before signing.
Auskam Legal provides clear, practical guidance to help you understand your rights and responsibilities when entering a Financial Agreement. We assist with drafting, reviewing, and executing Financial Agreements, ensuring they accurately reflect your intentions and meet all legal requirements.
